MSC got boring after the first few weeks. I haven't even tried out the online feature. It pisses me off somewhat.
1) Any character who can teleport for a deke is cheap. Pisses me off when I'm playing with a Level 5 computer whose goals consist of 50% teleports. It's even more boring that most of those goals go into Top 3.
2) Items usually don't do crap for you.
3) Most of the stages are too frantic. Seriously. On Thunder Island, I'm more worried that a cow is going to kill half my team temporarily then the guy whose on my ass trying to get the ball. That's why I prefer stages like the classroom.
4) My brother's a poor sport, and I live far away from my friends at school, so no one else to play with.
5) Once you learn how, the Super Strike (or w/e it's called for Captains) is easily dodgible. Even on 6 balls, hyper speed.
6) Some characters seem unbalanced. Dry Bones and Hammer Bros are pretty much best side characters, and Captains like Peach have stupid Captain Moves.
Overall, I've only had fun with it for the first few weeks I bought it. After that, it's just another game left in the cabinet I might come across, play again, and realize how terrible it still is.

The Computer at Level 5 seems easy though.
The "transport" shot isn't that bad compared to "other tricks..."
I was Rank 1 twice though... ^_^

| QUOTE (Soiyeruda @ Feb 20 2009, 02:22 AM) | | I didn't say they were hard. I just said that they do nothing but teleporting to get their goals. It's annoying as ****. |
It was a rare sight for me since most of the time, I smacked them before they can teleport. Of course like everyone knows, the distance of the teleport depends on how much the ball was charged. Like Purple Ball = Shortest Distance and White Ball = Longest Distance. On a sidenote, I got this game on February 18th last year! This means one year of MSC boredom had passed...with many years to come... To prove that, my MSC copy even has a scatch/break in the middle and it still works!
