I have to agree with this. A top 6 if the tie isn't broken 24 hours after the voting deadline, sure. A top 8, though, is just absurd.

I am constantly seeing Top >5 vote-offs these days, and it's ridiculous. Tiebreakers are NOT hard or excessively long to conduct.
