I've noticed that people love comparing Wind Waker's overworld to TP's overworld -- both of them are barren and take forever to cross. Which one did you find the most boring?

I'd have to say TP's bored me the most. For some reason I absolutely loved sailing in WW, even though it was a tad bit stale at times. The music and wave affects blew me away, and the islands scattered throughout the land at least gave you an incentive to explore it.

The fresh and exciting colours made WW's overworld more exciting.

Twilight Princess easily... the Wind Waker overworld had you see things in the distance, islands you knew you could get to one day and a great sense of exploration, beautiful graphics and the feeling of sailing around at night was great.

Twilight Princesses overworld was ugly, barren and too walled in. It didn't feel grand or anything.

I'd say Wind Waker's was better if the ocean wasn't as big.

I'm all for the idea of the ocean and sailing and stuff, but not if it takes 10 minutes to find anything.

Hated Wind Waker's. No opinion on TP, though; haven't played it.

Yeah, WW is really really good. Been playing it lately, forgot how great it was.

The dungeons were really nicely done, and the sense of accomplishment near the end was phenomenal. Not only that, but the graphics still feel fresh and new even after all these years. Great game.

Yes!
I actually never found Wind Wakers overworld boring, but the wind aspect and the canon battles left something to be desired... something they could fix on the Wii! Hooray for a genuine good use of the Wiimote!

I want to lkie TP's Hyrule Field, since it is pretty beastly (and an improvement from the N64 games, imo). Despite this, I felt like the ocean was more exhilarating.

I'm going to say that TP's was more boring.

I liked both! Sailing was tons of fun, but got tiring after a while (Dumb sharks always running into me). I loved TP's music and I still spazz over the graphics whenver I feel like playing it.

while I didn't mind sailing the Great Sea, I did enjoy exploring TP's Hyrule Field a bit more.

I loved WW. There were so many things to do in the OW that I couldn't be bored. Subs, islands, Giant squid things, treasures, and those out posts.

TP was pretty empty. Their were a few things here and there, but it was still pretty bland.

Hard one. Wind Waker sailing takes a while, but it looks wonderful. TP's field is absolutely BORING looking, but the caves and **** hidden around it are AWESOME.

Are you kidding? TP!

WW's overworld was one of my favorite things in the game- I mean, it's not like any other Zelda game as far as I know. TP's was boring and uncreative for the most.

TP's drab colors coupled with dead space galore.

At least WW's overworld was colorful and filled with adventure.

Twilight Princess was boring since there were big, empty spaces that were connected through narrow passages. It would be much better if it was an open field, without all those fences and narrow paths in the way, but I see they had to do that so the player can't avoid entering the Twilight curtain.

But I still prefer to wander around in Wind Waker than in OoT's Hyrule Field. It's kinda cool to control the wind where you want to go and steer your boat so you don't miss the island.
