Same here. I've had it for a while. I'd say it's the best Kirby game I've played.

Helper to Hero was the best thing there.

Other than that, wasn't much else different from the original.

They weren't in the original KSS.

actually after looking it up, Laser was in the original (when you suck up those orange ball thingies in Revenge of Metaknight) but was changed to give Beam

UFO was also in KSS, except the KSS no one cares about :V

It was like that in the original KSS too. I know this because I remember getting disappointed when I tried to get it's ability in it a long time ago.

Where? Unless there was a KSS on a system other than SNES before Ultra I don't know about.

ffff

That game was basically just a build on the engine from the GBA games (of which were based on Kirby's Adventure on the NES) though.

But either way you're technically right.

Speaking of, I hope they make a new Kirby game with this Super Star Ultra engine in a similar manner. And maybe touch up the existing sprites they decide to use again. Seriously, has anyone looked at the Waddle Doo sprites? sad.gif

If HAL ever decides to make a new Kirby game, they should bring back the Animal Friends. Cameos don't count. Now that would be pretty cool, IMO.

One of the main reasons I like Squeak Squad so much is because of the Squeaks and how they fit into the game; I found the Squeaks to be really cool villains, and very unique and fun bosses, and I loved fighting them in every level that had a blue treasure chest. Plus the gameplay itself (platforming, puzzle-solving, treasure-collecting) was, to me, very solid fun.

And don't get me wrong, I love Kirby 64; tbh, I'm not entirely sure if I do like The Amazing Mirror better. (no, I'm not just saying that)
