Deadly Creatures

So tomorrow this game is being released on my country, a 10-hour-long or so game that has you controlling a scorpion and a tarantula beating the crap out of everything in their arachnid path while witnessing a couple of hoo-mans plotting evil things

I summon you, the like one or two that have played this game, is it any good?

I haven't played it, but I have a friend who's been absolutely obsessing over it. He seems to be having a lot of fun for it, because he's constantly busy playing it, haha. From what I've heard from him, a lot of things about the game sound very impressive, though a bit too violent for me.


There's a **** ton of exploring to do, and apparently there's like a ****lot of unlockables (both swears are necessary to describe just how VAST this game apparently is!)

Also, the combat. I don't really wanna spoil any of it for you, because from the way he describes it it's one of those "holy **** impressive" moments. Basically, you have like finisher moves and stuff, and they're like.. really brutal. When you finish off an enemy you can just tear the hell out of them with one of these apparently, and they sound really "oomph" in terms of just POW VIOLENCE.


It sounds like a really exciting/adventurous game from what I've heard, so I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

There can be little wrong with a game where you can force a thorny devil's jaws open and poison sting his throat to kingdom come

It honestly pretty fun and I love games where you just adventure like hell <3


But I am honestly afraid to play it because uh

I am severely arachnophobic and scorpians are just icky :<

Well this game would give you a different point of view : p

My only gripe so far is the tarantula being able to websling since real ones actually can't. But I don't think scorpions can go Mortal Kombat on rats so I can live with it


And your friend is right, there are apparently 450 freaking unlockables to find. It must be a huge environment for a game with only 10 levels

I need to buy this.

I like how they tell a human story through the eyes of a bug.

I think I'm going to get this, I can't wait to go on a rampage with the scorpion.

This actually looks interesting. THQ published it, too so it that's extra surprising,

Always thought it looked quite interesting, would love to pick it up sometime...

Just picked it up on a whim today, and it already feels pretty darn cool. They use some real impressive music to set the tone in an almost over-the-top dramatic fashion. In the first 2 chapters alone I confronted a copperhead and escaped from a gila monster.

Definitely recommend it, though the camera might take getting used to.
