They were going to have cutscenes like the intro one.

Like after you got on the helicopter you would see a cinematic of the pilot talking about how he feels weird, then turning infected and crashing into the town in Death Toll.

HOWEVER, I always seem to enjoy myself more when playing House of the Dead, and playing with another person in the arcade setting (and hopefully in the full-booth scenario, with the black drapes and all) really adds to the feel of a zombie survival game. As hard as it is to choose between the two, I pick House of the Dead. EDIT: LEFT 4 DEAD IS **ING BEAUTIFUL. I AM IN NO WAY DOWNPLAYING IT.
