It depends on where you save
If you save without entering any rooms that are changed in the newer version, the save data should still work.

But I really have no idea.

What did you say this was made in again? Cause I think WINE regressed. It can't load the DLL.

thats a problem with your computers built in fonts
but I think I will remove speaking NPCs from the game and make them just stand around and stare at you. It just seems more mysterious that way

can't say its bad, because it's definitely not, but it feels a bit too quickly tied together at times.

The events are a bit random and unexplained. You're never fully introduced to the game events or elements, and in the end you just don't really care.

Maybe put a bit more effort into some of the obvious spots, and don't tie the events so loosely together. It doesn't feel right.

I'm trying to add an element of mystery into the plot; once you progress farther into the storyline(which I haven't put in the game yet, although I have written a plot), you will begin to understand everything more.

So I scrapped Cavern Soulus because it was crap IMO. But out of the ashes comes a new, possibly better, game. Enjoy.

For those who wish to know what the plot for Cavern Soulus was going to be, I'll just sum it up here, because this game has a completely new plot.
In Cavern Soulus, Pyrama was actually the bad guy; she was forcing you to collect the gem keys because she was unable to take them. After you collect them all for you, she sends the Sibux after you that she created. Once he is defeated, she mutates into a big monster and is the final boss.
