I've had this idea for several months.
A kind of a strategy-rpg-puzzle-shmup where you control your ship and shoot e(ne)m(ies) up. You have also some partners with you who will explore several planets and places for you.
Here is one of the twists of this game that make it feel kind of original: your ship does nothing else than move. It can't even shoot em up. Instead you can have up to seven little things around your ship that do different things depending on their types. You can buy them at the hub, a village in space.

- You have three weapon "things" to make up for the lack of weapon abilities of your ship. They are used with the keys A, W and D.
- The two shield "things" defend your ship. They are kind of like HP. If you get hit, they will protect your ship but become inactive until you return to the space village.
- Lastly, the two engine "things" are not necessarily engines, but I named them so because I was thinking of an underwater stage where they boost the ship in the water. They can be used, for example, for extra defence or something. Usually they are not used. (The "things" of this type cost also much more than the others.)
If someone wants to team up with me (I'd like C++ programmers), here is my "skill chart". (For those who don't know what it means: It shows how you feel where your strong points in game making are. It is your own opinion.)
ProgrammingGraphicsPlanningAudioIdeas? Should I continue this? Or should I forget about the hope of getting a programmer?
