My New Campaign - Help banned for noobies

Do you guys get annoyed by people who join the forums just to ask a single question in the help section? And it's often something stupid like "WHERE CAN I GET THIS SPRITE THAT I DIDN'T BOTHER CHECKING THE MAIN SITE FOR" or "CAN YOU MAKE A GAME FOR ME AND LET ME TAKE PART OF THE CREDIT" or "HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR OWN POST" and various other ridiculous things.

So I've come up with a plan. It's pretty stupid and I doubt anybody will listen to me, but here it is:

You must have at least 100 posts to post in the Help! Subforum.

Sound like a good plan? It will stop n00bs from posting random **** in the help forum and then leaving MFGG like its some help service or something.

So who's with me?

This is just more work for the admins, and RII.

Why don't we just make the FGD boards casual only too while we're at it. It's not like newbies ever create anything good!

oh and the arts board! I've never seen any good art from a newbie!

and hell, lets make the news board casual only. Why should a newbie have to follow what's going on with MFGG

and don't get me started about the GC!

solution: stop going to the help forum, there's nothing worthwhile there anyway imo

you dont need to have been good
you just need to have made a reasonable amount of posts elsewhere so we know you arent just going to leave after you get your answer

there's nothing worthwhile in there unless you're asking for help from mfgg, which is a pretty silly idea when google exists

I don't look at the help board.

And this idea is horrible. Be helpful, not rude.

not gonna throw a hissy fit and want to make HELP BANNED FROM NEW POSTERS when people ask for help with silly things- that's not going to fix anything

So why don't we just make a rule that says "no engine requests" or something.
