Super Mario bros: Hammer Bros. Revenge

Working on Level 3.

Which means World 1 is almost complete, 2 more levels to make after Level 3.

And of course, a demo will be released when World 1 is complete. However, the first demo WILL feature BS's tileset. I haven't decided on another yet.

Level 3 is being expanded.

And I had a brainstorm for it: a level based on SMG's rolling green galaxy (I think that's what it's called.). It'll be the final level before the airship.

Level 4 is currently being tested, Which means a demo will come soon! ;D

Fun fact: Level 2 will be the first appearance of the Hammer power, and level 4 will debut the frog suit in this game.

And Level 4 is an underwater autoscrolling level, oh no!

Well folks, I edited the default Yoshi sprites, and I'm working on the doomship level.

Unfortunately, my county is under a Tornado Warning, so progress will be put on a standstill for the next few hours.

It's still a little rainy outside, but luckily the warning passed by with nothing bad happening.

Anyways, Back to work for me. The Yoshi sprites are currently a little screwy, I'll attempt to fix them.

New element added to the game!

The levels will have NO time limit whatsoever. Instead, you will collect purple coins. They come out of purple ? blocks. When beating a level, you get extra points based on the amount of Purple coins you collected. Obtaining 75+ purple coins will get you a 1-up.

Thats cool! Can't wait for the demo.

The new Yoshi sprites have been perfected.

Also, Mario reacts when Yoshi dies, so he doesn't seem so heartless. Yoshi also dies in the same manner as Mario.

EDIT: Oh, and Yoshis don't come from ? blocks. you'll know an egg block when you see it, trust. me.

All that stuff is cool, makes me wanna play it.

Everything in World 1 is preeeeeeeeeetty much done. I'm just fixing up a few nasty bugs, and I'm done!

The time of demo releasing is almost upon us...

I just need a logo for me and the game. :P

Another update. Purple coin related.

When you're hurt, 10 purple coins fly right out of your pocket. I added this because I noticed the game was easy, since you get a 1up at the end of the level if you have enough, and reaching the top of the flagpole with enough purple coins gets you a 3-up.
