| QUOTE (Raie @ Feb 22 2009, 01:38 AM) | | Anywhere from like.... 300 - 2000something .... depending on how much I eat that day. Sometimes I don't eat very much, since I don't really have regular eating habits. |
300 calories minimum? No wonder you're such a bloody twig!

| QUOTE (Ryoga @ Feb 22 2009, 01:47 AM) | But as high as 2000. Women are generally advised 1400.
Men are advised about 1600.
As for me, I normally have about 1600-1800, depending on what is made/given for dinner. There are no nutrition labels on our school food. |
I've been told I should eat like anywhere from 1800-2200 because of my height, though I try to eat less than this because lately I've felt... rather unconfident about my weight to say the least.
And hearing all you guys' dietary habits hardly helps that confidence at all, Jesus. I feel like such a fatty amongst you folks.

ITT: Mrs. A b'awws about her weight until Medaf wakes up from his nap and shuts her up.
| QUOTE | It just depends on however much I want to nomnomnom that day.
I guess on average it's probably somewhere around 900-1400 but I'm not sure! I don't really pay attention. |
God dang it, you skinny thing, how I envy your ability to not be hungry all the time like me.

From the pictures I have seen one you(two, I think), you are rather thin. Frankly, I love a women with a nice full figure. Enough to hold and not feel like you will break her when you hug her. But really, it also kinda depends on where the calories are coming from. Not to mention your exercise habits.
And for the record, I don't even know how much I intake. It was an estimate.
But regardless, I think you look fine. What you intake sounds about right for a student. And of course, it also depends on what meals you eat(maybe you skip certain ones) and how much you eat during them.
If you didn't know this, and it helps, then try reversing the typical American diet. Eat like a king for breakfast, prince for lunch, and pauper for dinner. That might be hard for a student, but it will give your metabolism a good start to balance out all the calories you may intake. An alternative is just to drink some coffee to start your metabolism, I guess.

Yes, and most guys actually do like "a little meat on a girl's bones" (Medaf included), but I have an age-old hangup with weight and the insatiable desire to be frail.
Also, ha ha, exercise -- you're funny.
And yeah, I know all the diet strategies. My problem is they simply cannot sustain me. Recently, I've been able to starve up until lunch, and more or less live on a few bites of this or that for dinner (with a maybe bit larger than average lunch thrown in there somewhere), but even then -- certain times of the day I start losing my ability to see straight, think clearly, or even hold my pen steady. It's really frustrating, because I feel like it's not the food I miss and desire, it's the fact I literally lose control of myself if I don't eat enough food. And when I have a clouded mind, I simply can't function -- I rely so heavily on quick wits and a ready mind that if I'm even a little bit out of it, I can't bear it.
I mean, back in freshman year (high school), I could cope with the dizzy spells and inability to cognate because school was easy and people were dumb -- but now I just can't do that anymore, y'know? I'm nothing without my intellect.

Oh, and I don't drink coffee in the morning, but I do have Sugar-Free Red Bull (10 cal.). It wakes me up faster and is easier to store in our minifridge.
