Patent Troll's Cometh again, This time their are, going After Nintendo, Sony, & Nokia

Fair enough, somebody has to love 'em I guess ;P

Lol, never heard of this company.

It's the same as with all the other patent trolls, they never used "their ideas" and then go out to sue anybody who produces something very loosely, almost nothing like, their "product" you never hear about ever.

These systems and games have been out for years now, and this company is JUST NOW seeking "rightful" compensation?

No, but you can patent a means of distribution via telecommunication.

It's like patenting a boat component.

PS: The Japanese have a history of this so-called patent trolling. It is in fact a perfectly legitimate way of doing business, especially if you don't have the means to produce your invention and don't want to give up your rights to the ip to a company.

Sony Nintendo and Nokia can buy out Edge, fire everyone who worked there, and burn the building to the ground out of spite if they wanted to. Damn that would be awesome.

Because we're apparently in a spate of only hearing about Texan firms. Someone fluent in moonspeak, or hell, any language besides English, should do some digging and see what patent-trolls have cropped up in countries that speak their language(s).

Sorry I did not include all English speaking states, countries, and other various subdivisions of geopolitical regions in my post. In fact, I don't believe I included any whatsoever, including GLORIOUS TEXAS, PRIDE OF THE NEW SOUTH AND PROMISED LAND OF 'MUHRKA. I will correct this ASAP, as long as you find a patent holder in Canada that has recently filed a lawsuit for infringement on a product that has already hit distribution.

The Middle East is in Asia. The Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese aren't the only Asians, you know.

More freaking Texas-based patent trolling... at least it's not just Nintendo this time. So many other people could fall into the category.
