My Theory On Femininism

Normally, I'd say that this would be a kind, sexist sort of way of putting it. However, considering you're the one to say this, it kind of surprises me. As far as I'm concerned, your argument is flawless.

However, this makes me think of how some things really don't matter.

For example, if Martin Luther King hadn't stood up the way he did, would we still have as much racism as we do now? Most would argue yes, but honestly, I think that someone else would eventually stand up instead, although maybe a bit later.

I honestly don't think that if Feminism had not started that our economy would still end up to its current position, despite the fact that Feminism may have sped up the process a little bit. And while it brought our economy down sooner, it was probably going to be headed there eventually anyways. Feminism may be the cause of some things, but there are other things that would still happen even if it didn't exist. Feminism has brought many good things, despite the fact that it has sped up the process of a few bad things.

I have only one thing to contribute.

I've pretty much thought the same thing. But it's not really woman's fault for wanting equal rights- its how they went about with it. Two income household being the standard is ****- no one home to watch the kids, single parents get ****ed, etc.

If they just decided "hey I want to work, you stay home with the housework/kids/TV" or whatever, I think things would be better.

though the economy would still be down the ****ter now- at least single parents wouldn't be ****ed over and people would be less likely to have their kids raised by TV and other trash

Of course, nowadays when a boat sinks it's handicapped and elderly first.

Although considering the prejudice and restrictions that has effected women in the bleak past, wouldn't being able to work be a victory well spent? Besides, there's something called "human will". You either want to work or you be a housewife. No one should force you to do either, so there's no need to complain about how tough the working life is.

When I was pretty much 3ish, my Mom went off to college and got a job 4 years later and worked a **** load of time. I felt dissed.

Thats pretty much what a Mother is when a kid is 0-5 years old. No I'm sorry, let me be capable of changing my diaper and fixing my own food when I can barely comprehend whats being aired on Nick Jr.

Feels great to have a Mom who ignores you almost all the time except when making lunch.
