RII I think you broke setting local strings because MechaSource kinda broke once I used the new version

I mean I can set the string in MMF2 and Lua alright, but these two seem to be separated? Either way, they don't affect each other.

Well Mecha is right.

Actually, it was pretty silly. The action was still commented out from when I was doing speed testing for you on the local values system.

Added a new action to the libraries menu to load an external C module, which prompts you with a file dialog to locate the DLL, and asks you for the package name (eg, 'ext.opengl').

here's a dumb request: the ability to create a temporary (anonymous) table within mmf, add numbers/strings to it, then pass it to lua

maybe a menu like:

Table
  • Create table
  • Add number to table (number index) [index, value]
  • Add string to table (number index) [index, string]
  • Add number to table (string key) [key, value]
  • Add string to table (string key) [key, string]
  • Remove table index [index]
  • Remove table key [key]
  • Export table
i... don't know how you'd actually "catch" the table reference unless there was an interface function or something that looked for and returned it (or nil if there wasn't one):

blah = mmf.GetTable()

or something

this would be great for things like cough listing files in a directory cough

Actually I am finishing up adding numerical index support to the Set/Get variable actions, and expressions to get table length/size. Would that be sufficient?
