Hi, i decided to make that topic because my game

unlike every other games on mfgg.net got just few comments and absolutely no reviews. Other games whether they are good or bad, still are getting comments and reviews.

So what do you think about that minigame ?

Can't play it because I get a runtime error and then it crashes.

Probably because Vista but eh, people should convert their executables before uploading.

THIS GAME IS ****LY AWESOME, FUNNY, COOL, GOODLY PROGRAMMED etc ...

IF SOMEONE HASN'T PLAY THIS GAME YOU MUST PLAY AND ENJOY THIS GAME !!!!!!!!

*Berry doesn't respawn when falling off edges or equal
*Ai sometimes **** itself up and goes into an infinite movement loop
*Controls are horrible. Seriously, stick to arrow keys.
*fps is like 20. What's wrong with 60 fps?

You are right. But those bugs aren't very important : it's still cool !

infact that the berry disappears at the beginning of games at random is really frustrating

Well... it doesnt oO. You must have wooden PC or just your PC is too slow for Vista so it makes everything goes "down". Game full FPS is 30 not 60. It's still strange that you got only 20 fps, especially after I heard that you have that Vista sh**t coz Vista needs a lot of ram memory, pretty fast processor etc. You may have same computer as mine (1.8Ghz, 512mb ram, GeForce MX 64mb) but you installed Vista for no reason and now you are having problems. Vista sux ass and you PC's Power :P.

I have never noticed any kinds of bugs you reported, except for Luigi's AI.

Vista may be slow, but if you have the right parts, it's pretty good. That's why Computer Parts usually have to be "Vista-Certified" to come with a Pre-built Computer that uses Vista as its OS. Speed has nothing to do with the Berries moving down. It's a PROGRAMMER ERROR, not a COMPUTER ERROR or USER ERROR. Also, no self-censoring.

There is no rule against self-censoring.

I do it myself quite often. However I think it's annoying when people partially censor their swear words like "****" because it's still obvious what it is.


Anyway, enough of off-topicness.
If a game has programming faults, then it's obviously the programmer's fault and not the user's machine's fault.

It's annoying though. If someone doesn't want to see cussing, they can turn on filters. It's even more annoying when they censor "****" to "sh**t". It doesn't have 2 i's, people.

Seriously, WTF? Would you like "****" more than sh**t? Or **** rather than f**k? Maybe it isn't obvious for younger users here what word is hidden behind those characters.

I don't care when is programmers fault or isn't the problem is that he is the only one person that noticed that kind of bug, and that game was played by many ppl already coz it's old. And believe me, GM games can sometimes work not properly on just 1 single computer, it may sounds strange but it's true.

now lemme put it straight: no. It isn't a hardware fault. Game Maker is not run differently just because of different hardware. It's a software fault, and by software fault I am speaking of a fault in the programming.

... no, I... what? Where'd you get that from? The only issue there is with Game Maker is how it cannot run on Vista unless converted, however, such converters are available. There is no hardware-compatibility bugs; it is clearly a bug in your programming. I am only mentioning the bug to help you in correcting it. If you cannot see this, then you're not up for constructive critism - which makes me wonder why you even bother to show it at all, considering its old as you say.

That the bug exists is obviously your fault, purpose or not.

By the way, I got my brother to try this on both his high speed max running on Windows XP and his PC running on Windows XP - it receives the same glitches and FPS that MechaBowser gets.

Glitches like what?

My SMG2D had something like using surfaces to make nice close ups with camera etc. However it worked ONLY on my PC and other PC's with GeForce 4 MX440, on other cards it was glitching.

Possibly Bad Drivers? And he got the same glitches with Berries, I think.

Pretty much impossible that so many ppl wtih other cards than mine had bad drivers, I was actually forced to disable "close up" feature so other ppl clould see cutscenes.

Berries, or I would say, apples do respawn even when you only knock them off the tree. However, they are respawning on the tree, not on the ground. If you're not good enough to not let them fall off the screen then it's your fault. I don't see any reason why it would have to respawn apple just by your feets again. Failed to carry it to your pipe? Go get another one.

The game's not too bad, probably be a lot more fun with someone other than the AI. The AI isn't that bad, but it's really easy to beat it. The controls are fine for me since I'm using a laptop and I like using movement with my left hand anyways. One thing though the default time setting is pretty useless imo. I know you can change it, but 20 seconds gives you like only enough time to get one apple.
