Using the mouse seems pretty pointless, and it would probably be better with using keys.

That, and it goes too fast. The enemies are impossible to evade.

The mouse: I just felt like having it instead of keys.

Speed: Will be fixed.

Elsewise it seems like a neat concept. Sure, it has been used before, but never in a Mario game, which makes it creative and original. Keep it up!

Haha, really weird gameplay mechanic, but I kinda liked it.

As mecha said (and people should listen to mecha in minigame topics) it needs to go alot slower.

Thanks!

A new version is up, but the only difference is speed which is decreased. Is it slow enough now?

Yeah thats better.

Also I love how it looks when you die and go flying off the screen.

Yep, far better!

Also, you can almost go off the screen when moving the farest to the right. It might make it possible to entirely evade any enemies.

I suggest positioning Luigi a bit higher in the view, as you don't need to know what's behind you.

That's a splendid idea, and I tried to make it, but there's a problem.
In the "View" tab, I have the following:
CODE
Object following: obj_Luigi
Hbor: 198 Hsp: -1
Vbor: 200 Vsp: -1

And, I thought, "having a bigger Vbor will place Luigi higher on the screen", but it doesn't. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: And there's a new version in the first post, with a new enemy.

Create a camera object, make it so the view follows that camera object and position the camera object [y] pixels ahead of Luigi. Problem solved.

Thanks! I'll use it, but just for the record, it IS possible to do it with the Luigi object and the view tab, right?

Could you make Luigi follow the mouse a tad faster?

Because right now, its more luck than 'skills', mainly because its impossible to control Luigi.

I think down to run should be the left mouse button.

@ MechaBowser: Sure!

@ FireStar: I'm not quite sure what you're saying there, do you mean that I should change the "run" button from [down] to [left mouse]?

EDIT: Update! I fixed the horizontal speed thing MechaBowser told me about.

Yes I believe this is what he meant. And I would agree, too. Either keep it completely keyboard, or completely mouse.

I tested to use the mouse for running, but I don't really like it. Could be because I'm used to press down now, though. :/
