IN THE MONTH THAT WAS FEBRUARY 2009

- Squirrel forgot that the month was only 28 days long and so once again prepared this topic last minute. It took him three days to write stuff for the Game of the Month and he started speaking in third person.

- Wii Discussion exploded into a million different bits (and 125000 bytes). You know the story. If you don't, you shouldn't have bumped old name change topics above the notice! Now all Wii stuff goes in the GC like the days of old.

- And then you realise the problem with a 28 day month is - I run out of things to talk about by the third bullet point.

- Members from MFGG and our friends from down the road used Mageker's their ripping skills to produce a whole heap of Mario & Luigi RPG 3 sprites. We've got a massive amount and the game hasn't even been given a firm release date outside of Japan. The wonders of the internet!

- Should really be pointing out Jazz's Pokémon skin but due to time restraints and secret preparations I haven't got it done. But it'll probably come soonish. I become unreliable when the physics department gives me every test from 1994 for "revision".

- NCFC needs help for 2009. So go build them a PHP-based site.

- It's April next month. Guess what happens in April

GAME OF THE MONTH™: FEBRUARY 2008

February's Game of the Month™ is:
Goomba vs. Subcon, by Guinea
as recommended by Black Squirrel... again

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you. The odds will betray you, and I will replace you etc.

Goomba's been given the mission to slaughter random civillians with a pistol that's very bad at killing people (I mean really, three or so eggs killed Birdo, surely several hundred bullets would too). It's a 2D-shooter/platformer hybrid thing which involves you firing with your mouse and moving with the WASD keys (or whatever). An FPS game without the FP part.

I think this was entered as part of a minigame comp months ago. As such, it's not the biggest, most fantastic game ever, but for what it does it does well. And lets not forget, Guinea made it.

So if you feel like killing some Doki Doki Panic characters download and BE HAPPYY

So yeah sorry for the delay... There may be a delay next month too for obvious reasons. Also sorry for this not being pumped up with my usual brand of word garbage but yeah.

not like February was a note for the history books anyways

good job though

Looking forward to that Pokemon skin.
