There are some things that, due to who I am, I could never be interested in, such as horse riding (and really anything to do with animals). Therefore, if there is nothing that she likes that would interest me, then I will know that I am wasting my time. Problems arise when everyone is into something that I find stupid - I am not going to try something out just because everybody's doing it, and I hope that I am rarely/never pressured into doing so.

Try to introduce her into something that she'd find fun as well.

As well, you don't have to actually do the things that she likes, just learn about them, maybe try to find out why she likes them.

Or, you don't even have to talk to each other very much, just make out watch movies, go swimming, or any other thing that doesn't involve much talking but you can have fun doing

While I'm glad to be finding this stuff out, I won't really be able to apply it until I get to university, because right now school is putting too much pressure on me to give me a chance to find a girlfriend.
