a view duplicator

best name I could find for it
but basically

can take the graphical output of an object such as an video extension or equal
then displays it

this would be extremely useful as it would allow the layering of windows objects.

You can't access any of the internal state of objects (other than some of the standardized data structures, found mostly in the active object). --------------------

yeah I just spoke to another guy about it

appearently it is possible, as long as it isn't a windows object, as you can appearently acess those graphics data.

not with active overlay

in fact i usually have my overlays off the frame entirely when i use it

now actually getting the thing to work half the time is a different story
