Rented Street Fighter IV

Holy ****, this is AMAZING. It controls really well, characters are pretty balanced out, lots of little cool techniques, lots of unlockables, I hope I can get that arcade stick soon.

I had to get Prince of Persia instead because the game store place didn't have it!

I mean i'm not complaining but I would've liked to get this too

so i was playing mortal kombat vs dc the other day







But no, really, I'd like a couple shots at SF4 with friends, because mostly everybody is saying it's really great!

I don't have it but a couple friends do. All but one button mash and have trouble comprehending what "MOVE THE STICK DOWN THEN MOVE IT TOWARDS THE OTHER CHARACTER THEN PUSH A PUNCH BUTTON" means , so I can't really have fun with it. They all get tired of me whooping ass after five minutes and whine and demand that we play Soul Calibur 4 instead, or jack off to their victories against me if I'm playing around with someone like, say Viper, and they're using Ryu

They also hate the fightpad and stick, and prefer using the xbox controller (one even has a gamestop brand xbox controller, wtf)

Hey man I kinda prefer the PS3 controller over the arcade stick cause I don't screw up my supers so much..

I need an XBox.

PS3 is a different story but.. why would you want to use the Xbox controller for a fighting game

Well it's not completely horrible... if you get used to it. Had to use it for SFIIHD Remix cause my cousin had it.

They need to release more classic arcade games for consoles, get some more use outta those arcade sticks!

I haven't even fought a Ken yet, and it's funny, he is ranked pretty low, so if I do I won't really be worried.

What's the tiers? I hear Vega(claw) and Guile are the lowest.

Zangief and Sagat are ranked top, and you're right Guile and Vega are bottom

Guile doesn't do as much damage as he did in 2, and Vega has shorter range and his moves are easier to predict now

and I swear his claw comes off like CRAZY now

I find it amazing that after like, six freaking years of playing this in arcades, on the snes, etc. I still can't get the damn shoryuken to work.

they made EVERYTHING easier to do in SF4

you can simply tap down forward twice and punch to do a shoryuken

IT'S JUST THAT EASY

Or try a Jap stick it's much easier for me than a american stick, but I'mma try to get used to American sticks so I don't get owned in arcades (although I'm talking about older games).

What the hell I'm still trying to do the old down+hadouken movement from the old games. That explains a lot.

well it's kind of hard when they're the only way I can play the game

But is it a more competitive fighter than Brawl?!
