I don't think I got it either. And no, that was the whole interview. I left out the "How you would greet the customer" part. He was basically like, "Pretend I'm a customer, who just walked in threw the door. How to do you greet me?"

I said "Good Afternoon, welcome to KFC, what would you like?"

It sounded cliche, but I don't think that matters.

Well the fact that you didn't have a believable answer prepared for the "Why should I hire you over someone else" question that employers, colleges, etc. always ask pretty much demonstrated to your interviewer you weren't ready to enter the workforce.

Also the fact that you assumed you could dress casually and speak casually just because you felt that a job at KFC wasn't too big of a deal and that it probably wasn't worth changing pretty much screwed you over too.
