I'd agree with you, except he uses the term 'haters' which seems to be a ridiculous way to refer to your movement.

Actually though, there was polling done post-marches about prop 8 and it showed it would have passed. A lot of people's opinions were swayed by the marches. Let us also not underestimate the voters who still live at home that don't care about the issue at hand (so vote no) but were guilted/forced into voting yes by their parents. But that probably doesn't make up a large voting block.
