I was curious - what programming languages do you know? Game Maker/Clickteam don't count; I mean things like C++, Lua, Python, etc. And, I'm not limiting this to just game creation - it can be any language (for example, PHP).

As for me, I know decent C++ and PHP, as well as some JavaScript. I've also looked a bit into Python and BASIC, but not much.

x86 assembly, C, C++, Java, PHP, Lua, ECMAScript (Javascript)

I've played with others, in school or independently, but I've built something substantial in all the above.

So is French.

The OP asked for programming languages, not markup languages.

C, C++, a bit of Python, a bit of Java, PHP, SQL, a bit of JavaScript, Verilog and learning Fortran at the moment. Oh, and GML fluently if that counts.

I hope I didn't forget anything.

Well I can make an Visual Basic Error Message using notepad and saving it as a .vbs, but a freind taught me and he saw it on youtube.

But I did improve from what he told me and can now make strings of them.

Some Python. I understand a lot of concepts, but I'm still in the process of learning how they come together and generally applying them.

Please tell me you didn't learn VB.NET first, it teaches bad Habits.

All languages could teach bad habits - at least, about other languages - because they're all different. C++ could teach bad habits about using BASIC. Python could teach bad habits about using Assembly. Vice versa. Stop going, "This language is not a good one," in every topic about languages, alright? It's irritating and it makes you seem like you think you know everything.

Back on topic, I've learned some rudimentary Blitz Basic and am focusing on learning C++ nowadays. And I'm also going to learn GML, even though it's not to be mentioned in this topic.

also Zero Kirby, it's almost common knowledge by now, by programmers, that VB is actually horrible to transition to any current-modern programming language used by businesses and industries

It's not so much an actual language as a scriptable version of its D&D system with some general capabilities from other major languages thrown in for good measure, namely C.

A mark-up language.

You wouldn't call BBCode a programming language either.
