I'm VERY glad everyone's in agreement that Majora's Mask is a must have.

1. Majora's Mask
2. Any one of the three Bomberman N64 games (Preferably The Second Attack)
3. Rayman 2
4. Rogue Squadron
5. Glover

I honestly don't care too much about the VC beyond N64 games.

Anyway Nintendo Power's staff are a bit flawwed in their decision making. AFAIK Ubisoft aren't supporting the VC (so no Rayman or that R:RoW game) and neither are THQ (who own the WWF/WWE license (not to mention any WWF game would need editing for copyright reasons and royalties and stuff)). The only one on their list that stands a chance (bar Majora's Mask for obvious reasons) is Ogre Battle 64, and it'll be a while yet because its prequel just got released.

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron doesn't stand much chance because Factor 5 don't hold the Star Wars license (and aren't doing very well at all due to the economic climate). The Bomberman 64 games stand a bit of a chance but Hudson aren't stupid - they only released their WiiWare Bomberman a few months ago, so they're not going to start releasing all their past Bombermans any time soon (not to mention the SNES games'll probably come first)

Glover's developers are owned by the beast that is Infogrames. They're a suffering company too, and I'm not sure if they're supporting the VC to the full. If they were, we might have been seeing Atari 2600 games up there.

Banjo Kazooie was only ruled out because Nintendo wasn't keen on it. Rare didn't mind, nor did Microsoft from the sounds of things.

Earthbound's ruled out because of copyright stuff.

...Well, that's disappointing.

I'm glad at the very least the Bomberman games are somewhat feasible.

I believe the United States will be getting Super Smash Bros. on the VC within the next month or so.

oh yeah and also remember emulation

Fancy chips in StarFox, expansion packs for Donkey Kong 64, 32X/Mega CD support, N64DD support for F-Zero X Expansion Kit etc. may not have been covered by Nintendo's current set of emulators, and they may not have the time and resources to hand to make it a reality.

That's why I think there's been a gap between N64 games - they won't release them until they're as perfect as possible, but as Project 64 shows, just because one game works perfectly doesn't mean all games do.

and of course "we can't emulate our own systems" doesn't hold up well in press interviews

I definitely want to see Majora's Mask as I never really had a chance to play it. (Outside of emulation, but I don't really like to play games that way.)

Beyond that, most of what I want probably will never happen. Which is kind of sad.

3.Pokemon stadium 2

Is pretty much useless unless there was wireless compatibility between Stadium 2 and Diamond/Pearl.

Basically, you can upload your own pokemon from D/P/P to Stadium 2, but they may only be the first 252 and cannot have any moves or items created past 2nd generation.

I dont see any problems why its useless.
because some measely 2 generation ahead pokemon arent in it.

Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 would be cool if perhaps GB games were released on VC as well and the Stadiums could access the save files.
