anyone seen these ads? I couldn't find a youtube video but the ad itself is quiet terrifying. The jist of it: You could get struck by sudden cardiac arrest at anytime and you will die because hospitals can't respond in time so you should buy this product.

The product: Home defibrillator? Seriously.
The ad: Disgusting.
The cost: lolworthy.

You could only sell this thing with an ad like this. I hate fearmongering.

The ad sounds like it exaggerates a bit.

Most ads do.

If they don't, chances are you won't buy the product.

I'm aware of this. My last post just sounded a bit clueless because I was called to dinner, and wrote something quick.

But yeah. The ad only sounds terrifying because it makes it seem like it you could die within the next minute due to cardiac arrest, which is very unlikely, I'm sure.

Yeah, but what I think he's trying to say is that not everyone and his mother and brother are dropping like flies due to cardiac arrest. The ad sort of seems to over-exaggerate the possibility of just keeling over and dying, and plays off the rather implausible fear it puts in your mind of such a fatality.
