Download below!

A Yoshi wakes up inside some factory and has to get out before the time runs out, or else...
It's full of hazards you have to conquer. Coins regain some time.
You can jump, use !-balls, climb, use your tongue and swim.
You can also unlock new colors.

Controls:
Shift - jump/hold to climb on grills
Ctrl - Use tongue
Arrow keys - run/control tongue

Some screens:

Funky (tiles, bg edit, idea)
Guinea (coding, additional ideas)
Bwario (most yoshi sprites)

Ugh...this game is ridiculously hard, I gave up at level 10 out of frustration as the game gets really hard from level 6 and on. I also think Yoshi's jump is too floaty. I liked the personality test in the beginning that chooses your Yoshi's color as well as the unlockable Yoshi colors. But because I only went though 1/3 of the game, this is all I can really say... maybe you could make the game easier? But the random music at the beginning is a nice touch as least...can't say I really enjoyed the game.

Well, its ok, I just don't like the way the background and tiles are set up. I initially didn't know what the heck was a platform and what was part of the background.

To me, things are bit mixed. The Back ground isn't 8-bit, so why is Yoshi? I haven't played it yet, just commenting on the way the levels look in your post.

A tutorial would have been nice, and maybe the starting Yoshi colour could vary depending on what you pick as your favourite colour?

Otherwise its pretty good.

The game is incredibly hard in the way that you feel like theres nothing you can do about it, being more about luck. The level design is poor; the first few levels are rediciously hard for first levels, and you're hardly introduced to the elements. I can tell Guinea has made the engine because of all the features, but I feel like they're being used the wrong way.
Its also hard to tell the difference between foregrund and background, which should never be an issue.
I'd also like to see more of Yoshi's features being used in this. You could have replaced Yoshi by a kid with a yoyo and it'd still make sense. Where is the flutter jump? Where are the eggs?

The game has all the materials it needs to become a good game: good sprites, good engine, etc., but they aren't being used to the fully.

I didn't finish the game.

It does.
The color you pick in the beginning is the one you unlock as the last color. =P
That was meant as a kind of bait so you try to play it until you finally get that one.

Anyway, I'm glad a few people like the engine at least.

What people have said.

Glitch: tongue gets stuck, if you get hit while using it.

That's a good point.
It's my fault with the level design, I have to say it is rushed.
Plus it's my first game.
As for the Yoshi elements, you're right, it doesn't seem like a yoshi game. That's beacuse I've wanted to make new enemies and shooting eggs and fluttering haven't been possible in that time.

See it as a minigame made by a programmer genious and a poor spriter who wanted to see some sprites in motion. I hope we'll get a few votes.

The whole thing is evil
Not to say... rediculess!
The ending, however, is. >:D
