Not as in a site staff telling you that your picture is inappropriate or anything but as they want to know where you got it, can you make them one, or asking you that are you a fan on what your avi is about. Someone PM'd me once to say it was awesome that I had a Bonk avatar. (Bonk as in the caveman-type video game character.)

Also someone else asked me for the source of the anti-Twilight image I had in my avatar recently.

I don't remember if there were any other avatar-related PMs I got, at least at the moment.
