It's a mental issue, and very sad at that. Something that shouldn't be exploited like this, and maybe something that shouldn't be discussed at all, I dunno.
It's a frightening thought, though. But it brings up some other thoughts.
Are we not raised to follow our parental figures? Times may change with people so rapidly because of how children adapt and learn from their piers and parents, though most would probably branch out to have their own minds when they get older, they'd pretty much always be a bit rooted in what their parents have taught them
