Does MFGG know its classical music?, (top 100 classical music pieces)

How many of these have you heard before? If it's less than ~90, I'm wondering if you've been living under a rock your entire life.

Well I've been doing various music courses for the past 5 years, so I've heard all of them. Like FM though, I can't remember the names of most

I've probably heard the four I didn't know, but all the others were like... instant recognition on the first few notes... so.


Yeah, I can only name a few of them. :(

I love classical music but I can't say I would know them all by a few notes.

I recognize about 90 of them. I suppose that qualifies me for rock status?

The thing with classical songs is that I've heard so many, but it will be a miracle if I can actually NAME them.

Not Classical music

Most music from the Classical era (the only kind that I grace with the title of "Classical music") is music that I really don't dig. I don't like how it sounds, but I enjoy performing it (the few times that I do).

You can't really categorize music today by time period like you could 300 years ago. "20th century" or "Contemporary" emcompasses so much more than "Baroque" or "Renaissance"

I know most, but can't name em.
