Hey guys hope you enjoy this demo of Mushroom Fighters:hammer edition

Story:
In this game you play as a hammer bro who is a member of the hammer 6. Bowsers minions have invaded your crib, so you being a ally of bowser wonders whats going on and venture to his castle.

Controls:
A-punch
S-throw hammers
D-block(more like a push)



Credit to the guy..forgethisname..who made the three hit combo that gave me the idea to make this game.

This needs some work, for starters, there is nothing but fighting
No platforming of any kind, therefore you gut run to the right and fight

If you don't fight your p.much dead, for you can be hit over and over by the same baddie

Any attack make come to a complete stop, could do well with some friction (but this isn't to important)

You can only attack to the right, never left
Level design is very bland, its just "walk to right", completely flat

Fix these issuses and you'll have a really nice game on your hands

This has the potential to be a really good game, but I can't help but feel it was rushed as this game has some very obvious flaws. First off, you can only attack in the left direction for reasons I don't even know, second you can't jump for some weird reason. You also have only one hit until you die...in a fighting game. The sky background in the 2nd level obviously doesn't tile right and you have to fight every single floor bad guy 'cause you can't jump over them. you could also die cheaply since some of the level decorations are in front of characters covering up the enemies.

I like the music of the 2nd and 4th levels though. But I dislike the fact that you have only one hit and there are no check points meaning if you get hit even once in these long levels you must start over from the beginning of the level, very irritating. I stopped playing at the forth level because of this. The level design also needs work since it's just one flat stage with no bumps or pits, just one straight walk. And if you don't finish the three hit combo, you can't move for a while...what?

Yeah, definitely rushed. A overall promising demo with a lot of potential, but was just not worked on enough. And I could tell this demo was rushed cause the help file isn't even changed. headslap.gif 3/10
