Maybe. If I ever do, it would most likely be a "second job" (aka indie).

I am almost there, actually. I will hopefully enter NGA next time it comes around, and I hope to start a professional videogame company based in Halden after college.

me and my friend are considering starting an indie game development company (similar to 2D boy), so yes I guess.

although it would probably be just a hobby of some sorts -- we don't plan on selling our games at a high enough price to gain any significant profits from them anyway.

There once was a low budget startup company that purely made non violent games (cartoon, fantasy, and mild violence also) for women.
After much skepticism, they were doing so well they were getting noticed by big names like Taito of Arkanoid fame.

Thing is they were not doing so well when women started playing more violent games, so they rebooted the company as a puzzle oriented company just in time for the AT&T Celular boom from American Idol, and then the iPhone came along and they were all thrilled!

The point being, know your audience or you might be finished before you started.
Look what happened to the German company Silver Bullet after the adult game Flirt Up Your Life (online order only).

Yeah. And I'll take what I can get. I'll probably go into graphics design.
