I make a cake with 4 cups of pepper in it, and you comment, "Wow, this would've been a good cake if there wasn't so much pepper in it!" The fact of the matter is that the cake still sucks. The same goes for anime. Yes, it would be amazing with less filler, but it has it whether you like it or not. The filler or lack there of is part of the calculation of how good the show is, and you can't really just disregard negative aspects of it when determining if a show is watchable or not. which is why I read the manga

there is no filler (except the Kakashi Gaiden story, which was action packed and had something to do with the story; and the Kakashi's face bonus manga, which you don't have to read at all)

and Ravan's right about the FMA manga, especially with the crappy ending of the anime

I mean, I like One piece, think it's the greatest anime ever, but if you think it's retarded, I honestly don't care, that's your opinion.
