Getting rid of that gradiance shading you put on it would be nice. It also appears to have been rushed, as it's fairly inconsistent.

When you say gradiance shading do you mean the lighter side of the hills? Because I'm not very sure what gradiance means.

Gradiance shading is basically using a whole bunch of shades of a single color, going from lightest to darkest in some kind of direction, be it left-to-right, up-to-down, or inside-to-outside. It looks very unnatural.

From what I see, you used around 7-9 different shades of blue on the hills, which is way too much, considering the hills aren't that big, and the amount of actual shading is very minimal.

At most, you should only need 1-4 shades for a color.

- less gradiance used
- tried to fix up the shading a bit so it doesn't look so messy

Just a quick note, they're not in the same style as eachother.
Also, just to let everyone know, the space one is Star Haven in PM64/Chapter 4 in SPM. The volcano one is World 8, final level in NSMB.
