QUOTE
“This is a reimagining of the first Silent Hill,” explains producer Tomm Hulett. “It’s not a remake or a port. That’s an important distinction. It really feels like a new game.”

QUOTE
“Longtime fans of the series will also be delighted to learn that there’s a way through every locked door; no more checking dozens of entrances only to find that 90% of them are permanently barred shut.”
QUOTE
-Harry is moved using the control stick, the Wii remote is used to aim the flashlight

-When you look at something Harry will vocally respond

-No load times

-The Wii remote acts as your cell phone, and the static noise comes out of the Wii remote speaker

-Combat has been removed from the game, you can only flee

-When the monsters chase you the Z button will allow you to break through doors, climb fences, through windows etc.

I'm pretty excited. I loved what I played of the original SH, so this sounds pretty cool.

No Combat? Only flee? That sucks ass. Some of the charm of these games is that ammo is so scarce that you have to choose your battles.

You never know. It could work out very well, like other non-combat survival horror games that have been around.

Unless you'd prefer this game to be more like RE4 and 5 instead, focusing more on the guns than on the scares.

I see you didn't exactly read my post.

And this isn't supposed to be a copy/paste of the original Silent Hill, either. This is essentially a brand new experience in which the only parallel here is the story, and that's basically it. How the story unfolds, what the player can and cannot do, etc., are all completely different(and in some cases entirely up to the player).
