Writing a feature article

about loneliness in youth and I need to argue for both sides
currently arguing for that 1931 was better because your destiny was predefined

its hard to argue for something you don't even believe in

What... are both sides?

1) More social networks through internet and mobile phones makes the youth less lonely
Being forced to take over your parents' work in 1931 and before is a social prison

2) Your path and future is predefined and you are free of worries. You are safe and taking no chances.
Technology creates a 'fake' and superficial network
In modern times you have to worry about always making the right selection, youth becomes too independant and lonely that way

It's not too hard to argue for something you don't agree with


I had to do it all the time in law class

but it forces me to say that the internet suck while I'm typing on it

Isn't depression in youth way more common nowadays than it was 60+ years ago?

Because, while I made that stat up, it seems true doesn't it?

idk I think they're pretty equal

one thing leads to another and evens it out

Yeah but with the internet, we're exposed to alot more things that may **** us up in later life.
