Oh my god, YES!

I kind of hope one sits on your face.

scientists are people who devote their lives (incl. significant time and money) to researching and discovering fascinating things about the nature of life, the universe, and everything

what irks me about society is that many legitimate scientists have their work and credibility **** upon by well-funded organizations whose supporters would rather keep believing in magical stories instead of listening to the people who actually care about reality

it really pisses me off

Those fat idiots who think they're incredibly fit and "SO DAM HAWT".

I hate how the average intelligence of people decreases every day. I can name at least three people who replied with a "But you're not an artsy kind of guy" when I told them that Bowdoin is a Liberal Arts college. Hopefully it's just my ****ty high school and things are much different in college.

The thing that annoys me about society is that Everyone complains about Everything but nobody tries to do anything.

Bad nutrition is a big contributing factor to excessive body weight

and a lot of people nowadays simply don't know good nutrition, partly due to widespread dietary misinformation

so I think it's only fair to assume that in many cases people's health problems are not due to any particular weakness of character on their part

Sorry to dash you hopes but I'm not. I'm a bit LaVeyan when it comes to aesthetics.

But please go ahead and disregard other things you thought were plausible before knowing this fact. I'm pretty sure that's what ignorance is.

I'll go in a contrasting direction from Saberie and complain about the censoring swearing on network and cable channels despite those programs/movies already having ratings...and the existence of "viewer discretion is advised"...and child-blocking measures like the V-chip.

If you're showing people getting riddled with bullets and hinting at/talking about sex I really don't think its too much to ask to avoid awkward censorship moments like "Yippie-ki-yay, Mr. Falcon." and the prolonged silence during the cluster F bomb in Shaun of the Dead. It's not as if you can't figure out what they're saying most of the time anyway.

I highly doubt people here REALLY understand what it takes to make someone overweight and also to lose weight. Words like metabolism and other big words come to mind. Simply eating less is a BAD way to lose weight.

What annoys me is those who dispute my right to be offended.

i beg to differ

Again, I'm not referring to ALL fat people, I'm referring to the ones that ARE overweight for eating so much, not having a good diet, no excersize, etc. In that case it is indeed their fault. And that just so happens to be a large majority of fat people we see on a day to day basis.
