attn people who are pro at pokemon

So I'm playing Diamond again just to get a low level Skarmory and shiny Kirlia to transfer them over to my Platinum game. I read that to get a shiny you first have to chain a ton of the pokemon you want until you get to 40 then you just keep spamming the pokeradar, all while constantly applying Super Repel on yourself and hoping for luck. However I've been thinking that I'd like to get an awesome Kirlia with at least a Modest nature and maybe some good IVs if I'm lucky, I heard you need a pokemon with the synchronize trait to do this? Help.

I think Kadabra might have synchronize, and I think they're in Eterna Forest at night.

Pokesav?

I'm quite terrible at chaining, but I can provide you with a Modest Synchronizer and some tips. The IVs are radomly generated during wild encounters, and it's impossible to influence them with abilities and items.

IVs of a shiny pokemon during the GSC era were always set extremely high, and only consisted of 0-16 values, instead of 0-31.

Oh really? Cool but do you mean "lend" or "trade"? A shame you can't influence IVs, but then again I never really understood those anyway, ha.

Breeding is the easiest and most efficent way of getting good IVs. If you give a Ditto with a Modest nature an Everstone to hold, each egg has a 50% of being Modest. And that same Ditto can pass on three of it's IVs to the offspring, so make sure you SR for a good Modest Ditto.

They're found east of Canalave City in the grassy patch using the Poke Radar.

POKEMON IS NOT SERIOUS BUSINESS

They added way too much complication into raising pokemon with the whole IV/EV thing, so why bother? I'm going to train them the RBY way, then add on to them the way I want, but I won't make them uberly powerful, so there

POKESAV can also modify the save-file, so if you have a software such as EEPINATOR then you can transfer the save-file and modify it. But it didn't seem to work at first, until I first erase the save-file on DS card, start new game, and then transfer the modified save-file back on to the DS card, and then it works. But it doesn't appear to work correctly if I just copy it directly. You can use POKESAV for a such things as setting all individual values to zero or removing all the moves of the pokemons to make it only struggle can be used, or just to view the individual values if you want to, or add in pokemons that you cannot get in the other way, etc.

Even Pokesav is still bull****, you have to generate hexadecimals and other stuff if you want to make a legendary pokemon that is both good and legal

You probably don't even know how to use Pokesav properly. Try making an undetectable hack with the Secret ID#, PID and every other hidden value and piece of information present in a normal pokemon.

I don't have the necessary equipment to pokesav anyway, lol
