Here's an example of what I'm doing.

I'm adding the cheat for Mario 64.

name=Strobe

Adress/Value=8033B054 0095

Does absolutely nothing, the only cheats that work or the ones that came with the game.

pretty sure most graphical glitch effects don't work in emulators

some of them are probably dependent on the actual console hardware being present to do their thing

what

click system -> Cheats

Is the box next to "Strobe" enabled? If not, there's your problem.

I'm on advance settings, still doesn't work.

When I looked at all my roms, it said Mario 64 is missing the dissolve effect?
