Super Mario Coz

Welcome to Super Mario Coz, the newest Mario platformer for MechaSource.

Once again, Princess Peach has been taken by Bowser. Mario and his brother, Luigi, must travel across the Mushroom Kingdom along with his dinosaur pal, Yoshi. Prepare to face countless enemies, both old and new. Including all eight of Bowser's darling children.

Items are not at a loss in this world. Plenty of powerups and special items are here to aid the plumbers on their journey. Bash everything while being supersized, or fly over the clouds with a cape in hand. The possibilities are endless.

Super Mario Coz is only possible thanks to MechaBowser and his grand mechaSource engine, coming soon.

The Progress
The programmer, being the great MechaBowser, unfortuantly has finals this month, so it has been a bit slow lately. We plan to have a demo hopefully in one or two months.

It looks awesome!

Graphics look nice.
If it plays as good as it looks, this is going to be one heck of a game.

You seem a bit over yourself when you type this message describing your game.

Looks good though.

My face transformed into an awesome smiley when I saw that screen.

The background is odd, but all the other sprites rock.

And what does "COZ" mean? Or is it just my bad english?

Coz is short for Cosmic, which is a synonym for World, AKA Super Mario World.

BTW the background is a filler. We have somebody working on custom backgrounds.

This really looks amazing! Great work so far.

Could use some decorations.

Well, I don't really like the sprites and the tileset is horrible :sick:

please keep in mind that this is still work in production and everything could be due to change.

Doesn't seem particularly original, but I could be proven wrong. I still look forward to this.

I would like to say that I added another screenshot and that progress as restarted.

well I like the backgrounds but vectors don't mix with pixels

they grab way too much attention tbh

Oh man, this really does look awesome. I love how everything has got its own style too. The demo room looks fun, in fact the whole thing looks like a lot of fun.

This game looks amazing. Can't wait to try it out when it's out.

I made the first two backgrounds, yes, but the bonus/beta room background was heavily edited the one I created, which added all the shadows and contrast.

The graphics are aweswome. I do hope the game itself is as good.
