I played this today at some place called "Dave and Busters", Pac-man, Ms.Pac-man, and Blinky are playable, also some Tamagotchi, and Waluigi were the new characters. It was overall pretty awesome, but it had GCN like graphics, after you win the race you have to pay a quater to go onto the next course, and the items really sucked.

Wtf, why was Waluigi in this game? Iheard this game was rare, so I thought i'd share this bit of info with you.

And yet you're confused as to why Waluigi was in?

Only a quarter? Last time I encountered one of those machines is was a dollar per course. Needless to say I only played one course.

I was being sarcastic :/
If Pacman was in the first im saying why wasn't Waluigi? But I probably shoud've said that last to make it seem more so.

They use those points cards at D&B, and when you've finished a course it says "insert coin", with a picture of Mario inserting a Quater so IDK :/

They have this in Tokyo.

Kinda was just a gimmick game, nothing amazing, but entertaining all the same.

My movie theater used to have it, but then they replaced it with the first one. :'[ No more Waluigi...

Anyways, when I was on my cruise they had two of the first, and I set over half the time attack records on one of them. Pretty fun once you get the swerving steering down.

To be fair, Mario Kart Arcade GP and GP 2 are fairly mediocre games in comparison to what you can find in a real arcade these days, but considering the arcade industry, those MK titles are still pretty good in comparison to many console titles.

I know a few bowling alleys and cinemas I went to that used to have those Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 machines which costed £1 for one race and allowed two players. But now they've been replaced with these Fast and the Furious: Super Bikes machines.

I played it down in Disney Quest

I didn't find it enjoyable but that was probably due to the little kid pulling at my arm and his mother *****ing at me to give her poor child a turn.

I beg to differ GP 1 is in a movie theatre's arcade near me. And I live in America.

No, I'm just pointing out that in comparison to other arcade games of similar genres, that this is fairly lacking(tbh it's actually just a port of Double Dash with a few minor tweaks including a coin system and single-driver karts). I then went on to point out that, despite these shortcomings, it still is a lot more fun than what you'd find in a typical retail game store.

I was never insinuating that they weren't. I was merely pointing out how they stand against other arcade games.

There are barely any arcades in Holland ;_;

I did play Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 and Galaxia.
I spent more time with Galaxia than I should have
