Seriously, I think this is one of the main causes of women becoming the horrible people men fear. You boys criticize women for using you and leaving you, and sometimes I wonder if this sort of behaviour is what triggers it -- dishonesty, poor communication, and what appears to be more-or-less a legal form of prostitution. I'm not saying this justifies women becoming elitist, power-abusing sex-addicts, but I think if we could all be a little more honest with each other, this world would be a much better place.

He looks alot less tan in that picture than usual.

pictures are always too flattering for me anyway

they make me look several times less bad, especially since acne is constantly getting worse on me and pictures show what I looked like before, etc.

so really, showing pics in this case would be a futile exercise

Then discuss this with her, not people you'll never know or meet on a Mario fangaming forum. I think for the sake of both her and you, you should confront her with the problem of your relationship perhaps becoming too sex-driven and not instigated enough by love and psychological attraction. This method at least might give you a way to save the relationship, but at the rate you're going, the whole thing is going to crash and burn, leaving the two of you jaded, pessimistic, and spiteful of the other gender (and more likely to engage in more one-sided, sex-driven relationships that crumble after a year or so).

I'm not saying sex is wrong -- that really varies from person to person -- but communication is really integral in a relationship. You don't have to break up with her, and you don't need to be antagonistic, but what's the harm in bringing up some of the issues you feel have arisen in your relationship? Heck, she might even have the same gripes, and maybe solving the problems isn't even that big of a deal, huh? You seem to be submitting to hopelessness to easily and too quickly here.

Don't you think that's a tad bit selfish, though? You could potentially be damaging her psyche and yours too -- all for the sake of "not going back to being single?"

Is being single even really that bad in comparison to being in an allegedly lopsided, detrimental relationship?

Nope, a large majority of women agree themslves that women are just straight out *****y and annoying.

I can deffinitely say there are only about 4 women I've met that aren't that *****y at all. One was OSM's neighbor, one was my cousin, one was my lifeless and dead, and one was a paraplegic.

Case in point.
