Super Mario Bros Super Show, cute or odd?

What do you think:are these green koopas "cute" or "odd"?

I hated their design in the show.

most of us who grew up on this show look back on it with fond memories, I think. Sure it was inaccurate compared to the games. but to be fair it was all based off sprites. The makers were trying to appeal to young kids and give them something new each week.

From the point of view of someone who never watched it as a kid and was exposed to it via Youtube in late teen years:

It was just terrible and inaccurate in every way imaginable (THEY'RE NOT CALLED DOOMSHIPS!)

But mainly it was terrible.

I liked the episodes and thought that the Koopa Kids designs were cute. I like BigMouth's design better in the shows especially.

I was thinking abot super mario bros super show,not the adventures of super mario bros 3.In smbss,bowser (that design stayed for him),koopa troopas,lakitus and piranha plants had a greenish look.This is what I'm talking about (the designs are in the video)

Oh, you don't mean the Koopa Kids, you mean the koopa-troopas.
I thought they looked funny.

They got it a lot more right than Captain N did, that's for certain.

The designs of the characters and scenery in SMBSS were specifically targetted toward young children, and were reasonably accurate with the official game art at the time. The designs themselves aren't terrible, but probably don't appeal to teenagers.

The design was decent considering its one of the first (if not the first?) 'anime' Mario show taken from the game.

it was okay, but I still prefer nintendo's way more.

They didn't necessarily screw up the design, since all they had as a reference at that time were sprites.

I kind of like the design personally :V

I'm crazy over the design. They remind me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for some reason.

Odd, not to mention Lakitu. He's ****in' weird.

Now this show was GREAT DAZE

I'm still in my teens and I like it. Though sometimes it's kind of annoying when Mario takes most of the attention. Well what do I expect when I am a Luigi fan.
