QUOTE
4chan is a no-frills discussion Web site that features dozens of message boards and "image boards" within six broad categories, stemming from Japanese animation to travel, and given semi-random names ranging from "/a/"' to "/trv/."

yes, /a/ standing for anime and /trv/ standing for travel is pretty randumb

At the very least, they talked about neutral or good things.

I really want to say there's a kernel of truth there, but the whole report is just silly.

But there is quite a lot of annoying stuff that goes on there.

Anonymous isn't limited to just 4chan though. When they do good, they do good.

I still really detest all the awful stuff they do like hacking into people's myspace accounts and creepy stuff like that. That's just awful.

This is a great example of what Anonymous can do.

So, is the media even aware of Futaba, 2chan, 7chan, or it's millions of bretheren sites?

After all, 4chan wasn't the first. And even hen Anon strikes, it's usually only /v/, /co/, or those retards over at /b/.

They're past report was more about Anonymous than 4Chan, so I'm glad they did a lot more research this time.

Heck, in some cases they actually did good, and they actually spoke to moot. Plus, they set the record straight that they were wrong on the previous report of their bomb threats, which they now say were practical jokes.

Sure they still consider 4Chan as the dark side of the internet, but at least now they show that, at least moot, doesn't approve of the whole "internet terrorist" thing.

QUOTE (Comrade Kesha @ Apr 7 2009, 01:00 PM)
when has /co/ done anything?

/co/'s become really relaxed and mature of late, but I remember a time when they weren't all superhero Marvel vs. DC, nostalgia shows blah blah and actually had a porn/hentai database rivaling that of /h/ or /d/ itself. Not to mention I see a lot more threats to the world on /co/ than on /v/, which is hilarious sometimes.

Guys, they're not complaining about 4chan. Just /b/.

I do that, too.
