Charge spin is broken since it doesn't actually move you

which makes the boss impossible considering you need to use that (or so I assume anyway)

Make sure you keep tapping shift while holding down

(you can also just walk and press down to roll a little)

Anyway this is probably one of the best boss battles I have ever played. Perhaps make him have alternative moves once he gets low on hp because it gets a bit boring after a while

This is nice. I'd like to see more of this. Though, could there be some minor charge in the "spin dash" so we can quickly press down shift? I've missed several opertunities because it felt like I should move just a little when I just tap the two buttons together instead of unspinning.

This demo is from a group project that's SLOWLY being worked on. I'm also making my own Flug game (Flug is the little yellow slug character xD). But this engine you played here was created by the professional E-man, I wish he'd get his ass over here.

I beat him on my second try! That was a COOL boss battle! (But I don't see the relation with mario.. Oh well!)

Ahhh yea....

I just played the older games avaialble to download form that site. I must say...

THAT new game in development is MUCH better than the old ones. I just played this boss fight demo, and it's awesome. You have come along way in developing Flug the Slug. I like how he has health now. That's a nice feature.
Also, the spin attack makes up for the lack of moves he had in the previous games as well.

Just a small bug report:
- When you die, and there are after images behind you, the after images are still present, while you fell off the screen.

This is a cool boss battle, one of the best I've played in a while. It was a little too easy though, so you might consider making more attacks for the boss. Keep up the good work!

I think this boss is going to be one of the very first you fight. You wanna play some more bosses, guys? ^_^

So am I the only one who thinks this boss is too easy?

It's ok. I couldn't find any glitches but he was ridiculously easy as someone said before, I beat him on my first try and it took me until it was at half HP to realize how I was actually even hitting him. Not to mention he only hit me twice though the whole battle...on my first try. I like the effects you use when it is dying, appearing etc...obviously meant to be one of the games first bosses. It was quite boring too, we were doing the same thing the entire battle until it died.

And his unnecessarily high HP didn't help nether. And is it just me, or does this game seem to lack any kind of music? I like the top maniac reference though. ( did you do that on purpose?) I have no idea what he does after flashing, but I didn't want to stick around to find out. One last thing...is this boss a beta?
