World of Warcraft 3.1, Are you ready?

Patch is today. Ulduar looks like its going to be a lot of fun. Dual spec is going to be amazing too, I just don't feel like spending 1k gold on it.

They've been working on the servers all day, but I think they're just about ready (I'm getting to retrieving character list). Any other MFGGers waiting around for it? Also, what will be the first thing you're going to do as soon as you get in? I know I'm going to be fixing all of my addons -_-; standard patch ritual.

I think I'll probably hit the argent tourny too.

Yeah, nvm. The servers are back down again and I'm getting gray lists. Oh well.

Oh neat. I didn't know it was today.

I'm not up to the WotLK content yet, I took a big break and I'm just busy running through Outlands with a DK. Give me like a week though and I'm totally there :P

I main a DK as DW frost. What are you planning on speccing as at 80?

I'm not sure, I hadn't really thought about it yet.

At the moment I'm using a 4x/1x/0 build for fast grinding. I might go Unholy for the ghoul pet, but Frost looks pretty nice.

DW frost is amazing for AOE grinding. Blood is probably your best bet for solo play and questing, since you can pretty much solo all of the group quests. I leveled unholy when LK shipped, went from 55-80 in about two and a half weeks.

If you're thinking about using Unholy, I suggest making a pet attack macro for your ghoul. It makes things way more simple and you don't have to rely on the terribad change they made to the defensive pet stance. Its really simple, just bind one of your own attacks to the /petattack command. I use mine for icy touch (since my dps build is centered around it)

Of course, my frost DW build is part unholy (because pet damage is insane) to have the zombie. I'm not sure what my build is going to be once I can get online, they futzed around with the frost tree pretty bad :/

sold my own DK for $200. had almost all best in slot pieces. (AD/hailstorm)

I'm using AD/SGH, but I have two ADs for a slower build. I also have nearly full BiS tanking gear, but I don't tank anymore!

I totally saw the WoW thread, but it looked so dead.

I have been a druid forever and I am glad they are changing the cat form I mean I do like my lion with horns but this will make it cooler lol. But I do feel bad for my friend who is a DK and wont be able to tank anymore. I feel like this game changes so much from patch to patch.. lol like ret pallies remember when you could kill them?

...how will DKs not be able to tank?

And retadins are a joke for any class not named Warlock.
