In KH1 some bosses you actually had to use magic.
KH2 you can survive on just pounding X until you get off.

i can read katakana which is all i really need to play, i know what most of the skills do so if i know the name i can figure out what it does

the voices are english but i skip most of the cutscenes anyway

and yeh, it's pretty straightforward to play. o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o usually works pretty well most of the time.

Noooo way, I'm getting a pretty steady 60fps (ocassional slowdown I admit, but it's nothing too big) and I run a 2.5ghz Dual Core. Without frame limiting I can sometimes reach around 80fps in fights, too.

Maybe try fiddling with your graphics settings? Software emulation is really slow so use Hardware emulation. I can't really think of anything else it could be aside from hardware. Sorry :/

Oh btw 3x speed cycle works with KH2 in my experience. I dunno if hardware changes the compatibility but yeh, works for me.
