You should try to add some form of rock-like texture (not sure if you were going to).

Also I'll get on steam asap but my computer seems to be having problem after problem, don't forget about me.

actually most of the time the really good sprite wins regardless of how many poses this other sheet has.

This, it quite often happens.

Also, while Des has gone and made an amazing sprite, it's gonna be a real bugger to animate, and I'm also not sure where BaB is gonna go with his entry.

While branching out into other styles is good, it also makes it more difficult.

Gonna add the bomb boos sooner or later.

Des's looks a lot like a portrait in an arcade game... but cooler.

I don't complain because I feel threatened. It just feels dishonest, like I could draw any random picture in photoshop, call it a sprite and say "yeah it could be from a Mario storybook game" or something random. I won't dispute that it looks great, it does, but spriting feels like it should be about squeezing detail out of every pixel in a small space, not making a big impressive picture.

My opinion though and i'll respect others from now on. I'm entering though.

Alright well it's awesome then, I concede. If I ever win one though, expect some dimension limits to be set =P
