Sprite competition #161, Bouldergeist

I personally enjoyed spriting bouldergeist because it was the best boss out of galaxy imo, plus the fact that bouldergeist was one of my first sprites, so i wanted to see how much ive improved from that god awful pillow shaded rock copy and pasted into the shape of bouldergeist.

If spriting bouldergeist isn't enjoyable, yet the competition has many entries - then just imagine what spriting backgrounds must be like

I barely had any time today to work on this but I have my final entry ready. It got rushed near the end but it has almost everything (except the arms )

Like I said, here is what I have so far, but I still want to work on it. This is just in case someone gets impatient and starts the top 5 early in the day. I'm going to try and add more (stalagmites, hand) in the morning before my exam and afterwards if I have the time. Note that the smoke was just pasted on in the example for a quick idea. I'll post a better example with properly faded smoke effects in the morning as well.



Once again, this does not mean I am fully ready. I would appreciate it if you did not start the Top 5 until later in the evening.

Im not joining, because nobody care, so this time i just vote and make critism :3

Can we get an extension on this? Just one or two days? I'm sure alot of members would benefit from abit more time.



I still need to make more hand poses, stalagmites, bomb boo's, the smoke, etc.

Excellent, probably one of the best sheets you've ever made :]

It got resized, you need to fix that.

And the flipped hands really bring it down.

I think that there should be some kind of thick "inner outline", if you understand what I mean, between the fingers, as they are a bit hard to see.

There are still some entries out there that don't count yet, by the way. They have no animations.
