I'm back, and I'm using Hello's Hello engine 3 to make a game called.........

its based on a YC sheet I submitted.......any ideas for the game?

This topic is being moved to the Fangame Discussion, but I wouldn't have hopes of it living past Guinea, since your proof is essentially just a Hello World engine, which at this moment would be considered theft.

Please do a lot of fixing of that tiling on the land piece at the upper right.

It looks very messy when so many lines just end at the edges of tiles, instead of connecting with each other.

does no one else realize that this is actually the first level of hello's engine but with different sprites?

So, all you have to showcast is a title and a screenshot of Hello's level 1, but other than that you don't even know what you want to do with these?
Sounds like you should have posted this in the Misc. Discussion instead.

it;s not done yet. i'm getting sprites done first, not the actual levels.

yoshi's cookie is a puzzle game, so basically it's gonna have YC styled tiles, enemies, mario, ect.

Oh, okay. I guess you put the screenshot out in a rush then, because people were asking for it. It would have been better to explain why the level design and some of the graphics weren't changed yet, though.

Anyway, my suggestion from above regarding the tiling still stands.

Also, I recommend that you try altering the Hello engine code to add your own game features or modify existing ones. This is what I wish all engine users did; it makes fangames less "mass-produced" and generic, and gives people who are already familiar with Hello's engines (and possibly bored with them due to their excessive use) more of a reason to download additional Hello-engine games.

The sprites look cool, so you're good on that end.
Don't know what else to say about it, since there isn't much you have done to show us yet.

Is it basically going to be an average Super Mario Bros. game, but with Yoshi's Cookie styled sprites?
