except i'm actually enjoying this one

Watch an old movie and it's remake. Summarize both and compare.

I'm doing Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and TriStar's GODZILLA (1998).
Finished the G:KotM part today and it's 3 pages, plus the title page. I'm gunning for another 3 or 4. 3 for GODZILLA, and maybe a page or two explaining the differences/similarities and the themes each one carried.

anyone actually had a paper they enjoyed writing?

I got in trouble in 9th grade because I kept saying "in my opinion" in an opinion essay.

I enjoyed the 8 page paper I wrote on 2D collision detection (overlapping detection more specifically .. I could have railed on for another 10 pages if I included more than that)

Wouldn't the '54 and the '84 films be a better comparison? TriZilla was less a remake and more a hollywood reimagining imo.

Upload it to MFGG's how-to section and link people to it whenever they need help with 2D collision detection

I doubt there's many people on MFGG interested in reading about the Separating Axis Theorem.

My favorite paper?

When I had to write this.
QUOTE
The desert was dry, hot and windy, being covered in feathers did not help with the heat but at least they prevented be from being fried alive.

Summer in a desert for a giant bird is not really much fun, plus I was hungry. The weather hampered my efforts to find food and most creatures always hid into hiding. I was also thirsty, the sandstorm raging on made being able to navigate near impossible, even for large rivers.

I was stuck inside a cave, hungry, thirsty and the heat was unbearable, even inside the supposably cool cave. So I sat there, uncomfortably, waiting for the rather noisy sandstorm to end, I waited, waited and waited.

I sat there for what seemed like hours, bored and unhappy. Than I notice something, the storm had stopped, I checked outside to be sure and thankfully enough, the storm had truly ended. I walked outside, to search for food and it wouldn’t be an easy task either, the desert is a large and ever changing landscape, the storms did not help the situation either. It was futile to even try to remember the deserts locations; you were simply better off walking around aimlessly.

I walked around, looking for any signs of food and water, listening, looking, for anything that could potentially be prey, also looking for anything that may think of me as prey. Than I heard something, it was not close by but it was not too far away either, making sure that it was not something out to kill me I noiselessly made my was through to the noise, than I had what was making the noise in my sights, thankfully it was not something out to kill me, but something to me to eat. I still made my way noiselessly to the giant ant, but thankfully it would be small enough for me to swallow, approaching it noiselessly to not frighten it away was a difficult task, the sand could very easily make unwanted noise, each step could be a potential give away, especially with such big feet. I got close enough to the ant, reached my big beak out close enough to smell the ant quite easily than…

CHOMP!

I got the ant, whole, into my beak and swallowed before the ant could hope to fight back, than I discovered the reason the ant was here in the middle of nowhere, there was a big pool of water, an Oasis! It right in front of me, so I drank thirstily, I did not care the water was salty, I was used to that, I just drank, drank and drank.

Soon enough I was full and I fled the Oasis, I didn’t want to be hunted by wolfs, stay in the open too long and the risk increases, I looked around big rocks, looking for a cave to sleep in, it would be nightfall soon.

Than I found what I needed so desperately, a cave, I went in and made myself comfortable and soon enough, the night came around and it was freezing, absolutely freezing, the desert is never very good at keeping a stable temperature.

This must be why Peco Peco’s have such big, thick feathers.

English class obviously.

In the American continuity Raymond Burr was included in both, thus in '84/'85 he was an older man and he was brought in because of his "expertise."
Even though there were scientists that witnessed Godzilla.
So they brought in a news reporter.

SMRT

and actually TriStar's Zilla is perfect for this because I'm also going to compare the themes and such, and Zilla basically has none of the grandeur themes Godzilla had.

So basically I'm going to ***** about how Zilla sucked in my paper, and how glad I was he got his ass kicked in Final Wars.
